The Investiture Ceremony at Montfort Higher Secondary School for the academic session 2018-2019 was held in a solemn ceremony at the School Auditorium. The event was presided over by the COLONEL(Retd) A. KRISHNASWAMI. VIR CHAKRA, VISHIST SEVA MEDAL AND BAR.
The event was conducted with high degree of sincerity and enthusiasm with the Theme “RESPECT” where ‘R’ stands for Respect for self and others, ‘E’ for Empathy for All, ‘S’ for spiritual Growth, ‘P’ for Positive Attitude, ‘E’ for Empower/ Encourage , ‘C’ for Compassion for All and ‘T’ for Teamwork.
With the Vigorous beats of the drums and a march playing , the new council marched in procession up the aisle and on to the stage. They stood upright with their heads held high and their hearts in humility as each was invested , picking up their precious flags.
The chief guest administered the oath of office and the members of the council pleged to adhere to the values and principles upheld by school.
The Investiture ceremony denotes investment in being leaders and the trust and confidence we repose in newly invested office bearers for the involvement of the students’ community in day today functioning of the school, since we believe in child centric approach.
The school-song was sung followed by the National Anthem , which concluded the ceremony.
