Annual Day Celebration

Euphoria ’26, the Annual Day Celebration, was held on 30th January 2026 with great enthusiasm, grace, and artistic excellence. The event stood as a proud reflection of the school’s commitment to holistic education, nurturing talents, and celebrating achievements. The ceremonial Inaugural Illuminations marked the formal opening of the programme, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. The atmosphere was further sanctified by the Invocation rendered by the Montfort Melody Makers, invoking divine blessings for the success of the event.
The cultural segment began with “A Symphony of Joy – A Warm Welcome”, a graceful presentation that captured the audience’s attention. The literary brilliance of students was showcased through ‘Words That Shook Rome’ – Mark Antony’s French Oration, followed by the engaging Tamil skit ‘Puthayal Yaarukku’, which conveyed a strong social message. The energetic Fusion Fiesta by Classes VI & VII brought colour and rhythm to the stage.

The audience was then addressed by the Chief Guest, Dr. Gopalakrishnan, whose insightful speech encouraged students to dream big and remain rooted in values. The Guest of Honour Address by Mrs. Poonam Singh inspired the gathering with words of wisdom and encouragement. The lively English comedy ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ brought cheer, after which the Guest of Honour Speech by Mrs. Usharani added depth and warmth to the occasion.
Euphoria ’26 was truly a celebration of talent, culture, achievement, and togetherness, leaving behind cherished memories and reaffirming the school’s vision of excellence in education

22nd Annual Day Celebrations

2nd Feb 2024 was a red-lettered day at Montfort St. Thomas Mount as we celebrated our 22nd Annual Day. The campus was filled with festivities and grandeur. Honourable Minister of Tamilnadu, Thriu. Tha. Mo. Anbarasan graced the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed the prizes for the board exam toppers, achievers in academics, co-curricular and extra curricular activities. Mr. Jospeh, Chairman of the Tambaram Corporation Zone 2 graced the occasion as a Special Guest.
The programme started with the traditional welcome and lighting of the lamp by the guests invoking the presence of God on this auspicious occasion & the Students performed a classical welcome dance. The elaborate Schools Annual Report for 2023 - 2024 was presented very eloquently by the students. This was followed by the cultural programmes comprising of spirited dramas, glittering dances both contemporary and Indian, upbeat music, singing and articulated orations.

The Chief Guest, Thriu Tha Mo. Anbarasan and all the other guests and dignitaries greatly appreciated the Principal, students and staff for the wonderful programme and congratulated all the prize winners. As always the Master & Mistresses of the Ceremony were the students across grades who ensured the smooth flow of events. The Class of 2024 bid farewell to their Alma Mater through their farewell song which moved the audience. The Parents in whose honor the programme was showcased were enthralled with the stellar performances of their children and expressed their gratitude to the Principal, Students and the Staff for exhibiting an impressive show. The Principal Rev. Bro. Stephen Xavier expressed his appreciation and thanks to all the students and staff for their untiring efforts and vivacious performances in making the event a grand success and etching the day down memory lane.

22nd Kids Annual Day Celebrations

On 2nd Feb, 2.00 pm the Guests arrived and the program began with a lot of grandeur. The Guard of Honour welcomed the Chief Guest of the event Dr. Irudhayaraj M, Head of Human Resource ZF Hero Chasis Ltd and Rev. Fr. A D Michael, Rector of the National Shrine of St. Thomas Mount was the Guest of Honour and they were taken to the auditorium with full honours by the NCC Cadets and school Band along with Rev. Bro. Stephen Xavier the Principal, Rev. Bro. Pakiyanathan the Vice Principal, Rev. Bro. Deepan Principal of Montfort ITI and others reverend brothers of community.
The program began with a welcome address followed by the Lighting of the Lamp by the guests. The Welcome cum prayer dance was performed by the student made everyone feel the presence of God among the august gathering. Rev. Bro. Stephen the Principal formally welcome and thanked the guests, parents , Staff and students who were involved in the plan, preparation and success of the program. The Guests were introduced and felicitated followed by Prize distribution for all the General Proficiency Awardees and Board Exam toppers in the previous academic years.

The detailed Annual Report of 2023 - 2024 was presented by the students with a lot of style and spontaneity. The Cultural show began with the Class 1 & 2 Western Dance with a lot of colour and chic. The Class 3 students performed verse in action about Nature’s 5 elements followed by a mesmerizing and breath taking English play “Robin Hood” .A tamil skit about friendship was enacted taking the audience back in times.
The Chief Guest in his address greatly appreciated the Principal, Vice Principal. Staff and Students for the meticulous planning and excellent performances.
