Our Principal
I am glad to meet you all through this few lines. I wish to share with you
that today the world has become very challenging and it is for the one who is willing to do
hard work. At the same time the advancement of technology is giving a lot of opportunities
too. Today the children all over are very inquisitive and interested in learning more and
more things that become useful in life. If they are given the write orientation they will
become smarter in every respect.
I am reminded of a teacher, who during the class brought a bottle with a few
packets in hand. He kept the bottle on the table and opened the 1st packet that contained
some pebbles. He dropped them one by one into the bottle till it was full to the brim. Then
he asked the children if anything more could go into the bottle. The children answered “No”.
Then the teacher opened the second packet which contained grains of sand and little by
little he dropped them into the bottle.
It went down through the gaps and filled the bottle. Then he once again asked the children
if anything more could go into the bottle. The answer was “No”. Then he opened the third packet which
contained fine sand and dropped it into the bottle, which also went down and occupied even the smallest
gaps. Now the teacher again asked the children if anything more could be added. Yet again the children
said “No”. Teacher now took some water and poured it into the bottle. The water went down and filled the
fines gaps and crevices. Then the teacher knowing fully well, that nothing more can go into the bottle
asked, “Is there a possibility of having anything more in the bottle?” One of the students stood up and
answered that we could put the lid for the bottle. All were surprised over the intelligent answer of the
student.
Through good education we kindle the intellect of the students to enable them to think
beyond and learn more than what is taught. If this is to happen; there has to be interest, desire to
work hard and the courage to endure difficulties. “No Gold can become an ornament without burning in
fire. Bamboos cannot become flutes without holes being bored into them. Himalayas cannot be climbed
without struggle and endeavour.” 1108 failures of Thomas Alva Edison helped him to invent the Bulb. “If
you want to learn Swimming – Enter into the water, If you are to join the Race – Enter the track”. As
parents and teachers let us encourage our children and give them the opportunities and enable them to be
triumphant and prosperous in life through hard work.
Our Teachers
The entire faculty at Montfort Matriculation Higher Secondary School is a
dedicated and hard working team who are devoted to their profession and to each and every
student in this school. Starting with the motherly care in the kindergarten to the detailed
hi profile education required in the senior most classes our staff, are exceptionally
professional at their work. The fantastic team of non teaching staff also contributes
equally in every sphere to the school’s excellent functioning. Thus up holding the sentiment
